Biography
Early Life
Eve was created as a companion for Adam in the Garden of Eden, blessed to be fruitful and to steward creation alongside him.
Defining Biblical Moments
Eve conversed with the serpent, ate from the forbidden tree and shared with Adam, leading to expulsion from Eden. God clothed them and promised that her offspring would bruise the serpent's head. She later bore Cain, Abel and Seth.
Strengths
Eve is presented as the mother of all living, capable and created with dignity and purpose.
Weaknesses & Lessons
Her decision to trust the serpent's distortion over God's word brought consequences for all humanity, illustrating the weight of heeding deceptive counsel.
Life Lessons for Today
Choices have far-reaching effects; even after failure, God's promise of redemption and ongoing care remains.
